In 2010 we revolutionized tubular steel furniture with our introduction of Straw chair. By kinking the tube into sharp bends instead of the conventional soft curves, we created a previously unenvisaged aesthetic effect and made an audacious design statement. Now – after Straw lounge chair and Straw barstool – Straw’s big brother has arrived on the scene: the SUPERKINK!

Inspired by the smooth curves of cooked spaghetti, Ficelle is a unique poetic chair, nicely curved, fluid and light, not only visually, but also in terms of its weight, because it is made from aluminum. A beautiful design for indoor and outdoor use, which makes many dinner tables look elegant and light. Lacquered black or white, with optional seat pad.

This bistro table is particularly practical thanks to its innovative horizontal roll. On the one hand, this serves as a table foot. On the other hand it enables easy transport. If the table is placed horizontally, the horizontal roll rests on the floor: the table is in a stable and secure position. But if it is tilted, this folding table can be transported quite simply and without further handling. In order to store it in a space saving way, the foot part of the frame can be folded by means of a locking lever, and the table top can be turned to a vertical position. Like this, the table can be stored taking up only very little space. When it is needed again, the table top locks into place automatically when put up. The table is available in two heights: 74 or 108 cm.

PLOT is a spatial seating landscape for a very wide range of use. Inspired by cascaded formations in nature, it provides multiple sitting positions.

The unique way of connecting and arranging the identical modules makes it the perfect solution for any space or situation, be it an university setting, a hotel lobby or an airport. By positioning the elements either conventionally or more loosely they always fit perfectly to their surroundings.

The seat-cushion, the armrest as well as the backrest are designed to function as a seat, thereby the user is free to choose his preferred sitting posture. Different people may use a single module in many different ways enhancing informal communication within a cooperate environment. With a couple of useful add-ons everybody can customize PLOT to serve one´s individual needs.

An exclusive color palette has been created in order to highlight the uniqueness of this versatile piece of furniture. Seat, arm rest and back have been accentuated with three colors forming zones which make PLOT inviting to be used.

Tilted mirrors often found in shoe shops have been the inspiration for this cabinet, due to the mirror angle the users can look at their choice of shoes from up close. This function has been incorporated into an elegant piece of furniture, which has especially been designed for the entrance hall. Through this modification the cabinet appears individual and is at the same time very useful. The angle of the mirror has been carefully chosen to allow the customer to examine his or her shoes without stepping away too far from the cabinet, especially for narrow corridors this is a great advantage.

A former entrance hall of an office building in the heart of Zurich is transformed in our temporary exhibition space. Our new group show features a variety of works from national and international designers alongside new objects exhibited for the first time.

We will be presenting a light object at the BLACK BOX during the QUBIQUE in Berlin.

The Qubique Black Box will be placed at the center of the trade show. It will display approximately 20 prototypes that have been personally selected by Hermann August Weizenegger. Only manufacturers will be admitted to the Box; the press and the broad public will not be permitted.
